The word “catechesis” comes from a Greek word meaning “to echo” or “hand down what has been received”.

 

Our catechetical programme aims to guide young people to nurture a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the Church, and we seek to initiate the young person into the entire Christian life, which culminates in their participation in community and mission.
 

It is for children starting at age 7 (Primary 1) to age 16 (Secondary 4).

 
Catechetical sessions are conducted year-round except school holidays: 
Saturdays 3.30pm – 5pm: Level 7 to Level 10   (Secondary 1 to 4) 
Sundays 9.30am – 11am: Foundation to Level 6 (Primary 1 to Primary 6)​

In our parish, there are various opportunities we invite you to serve to develop our children and youth’s faith formation.

There will be training provided by our Parish and the Office for Catechesis (OFC).


We are currently in need of:

  • Catechists

  • Assistant Catechists

  • Junior Catechists (15 - 18 years old)

  • Facilitators

  • Administrative Support, including IT support for our Ministry webpage.

  • Retreat Service Team Support

  • 23 Aug, 11.30am to 12.30pm F2F at St Teresa Room

We will start registration for 2027 in November 2026.


For new registrations to Level 1, click on the Level 1 (Primary 1) tab.
For new registrations to all other levels, please click on the All Other Levels tab.

For registration, the parent and child will need to have a myCatholicSG account. If you or your child does not have a myCatholicSG account, please register at myCatholicSG.

 

Once the parent and child’s accounts are created,  you can procced to register your child. Each child’s registration will need to be linked to a parent account.
