The word “catechesis” comes from a Greek word meaning “to echo” or “hand down what has been received”.
Our catechetical programme aims to guide young people to nurture a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the Church, and we seek to initiate the young person into the entire Christian life, which culminates in their participation in community and mission.
It is for children starting at age 7 (Primary 1) to age 16 (Secondary 4).
Catechetical sessions are conducted year-round except school holidays:
Saturdays 3.30pm – 5pm: Level 7 to Level 10 (Secondary 1 to 4)
Sundays 9.30am – 11am: Foundation to Level 6 (Primary 1 to Primary 6)​

In our parish, there are various opportunities we invite you to serve to develop our children
and youth’s faith formation.
There will be training provided by our Parish and the Office for Catechesis (OFC).

Registration for 2027
Registration for 2027 is from 1 November to 15 December 2026.
For new registrations to Level 1, click on the Level 1 (Primary 1) tab.
For new registrations to all other levels, please click on the All Other Levels tab.

Important information to take note:
1. A minimum attendance of 90% is required of your child during each year of catechesis.
Otherwise, this may affect their progression to the next level at the end of the year.
2. For registrations received within the annual enrolment period (1 November to 15 December
2026) for the next calendar year, the priority for allocation of spaces will be in the following
order:
- Siblings already in the programme and children of Catechists/ Catechetical
volunteers
- Transferring from other CST parish catechetical programmes (i.e. CGS)
- Living within parish boundaries
- Registered parishioners
- Transfers from other parishes
3. Parents will be notified of the status of your child’s application by the end of December. All late applicants after the closing date will be put on the waitlist and will only be placed in our programme subject to availability, at our discretion.
4. To defray the cost of materials for running the catechetical programme, an annual
registration fee of S$25/child will be collected at the start of the year through the CATCH system. Parents will be notified of when to make the payment in January 2027.
Level 1 (Primary 1) New Student Registration for 2027
We invite parents to register their child who is born in the year 2020 for Level 1 (Primary 1) intake for 2027.

For registration, the parent and child will need to have a myCatholicSG account. If you or your child does not have a myCatholicSG account, please register at myCatholicSG.
Once the parent and child’s accounts are created, you can procced to register your child. Each child’s registration will need to be linked to a parent account.
